This website is owned and operated by The Tearoom Diaries. The following Terms and Conditions will govern the use of our website by all users and customers. Please read our terms carefully before engaging with our service. Once you have made a purchase, we will assume that you have read our Terms and Conditions, and therefore agree to be bound by them at all times.
Any reference to ‘us’, ‘we’ or ‘our’ refers at all times to The Tearoom Diaries. Any reference to ‘you’ or ‘your’ refers to our website visitors and customers.
THE TEAROOM DIARIES SERVICE
We reserve the right to make changes to our brand, service, products or prices at any time, without notice or consequence.
Our service is offered for all to enjoy, however we do reserve the right to suspend or refuse our service to anyone who we deem as having misused it unlawfully or in contravention with our Terms.
ELIGIBILITY TO USE OUR SERVICE
In order to be eligible to order from The Tearoom Diaries you must be aged 16 years or above, or have the billing authorization of a parent or guardian.
Customers must provide us with necessary personal and delivery information and accurate payment information. This information will always be dealt with in accordance with The Tearoom Diaries Privacy Policy, which is available to everyone to read and can be found on our website.
PRICING
All prices on our website are displayed in Australian Dollars and include GST.
ORDERS AND SHIPPING
Orders can be placed directly through our website. We accept credit cards and PayPal.
If you wish to arrange payment via another method, such as bank transfer, please contact us directly at: contact@thetearoomdiaries.com.au and we will be more than happy to accommodate you.
All orders will be processed and confirmed via e-mail, once payment has been successfully made. Please ensure all details on your confirmation e-mail are correct and notify us if there is any error as soon as possible. We are unable to correct errors in your shipping address once orders have been sent, so please double check that you have entered your address correctly.
We aim to ship Australia wide. If you are not available at the time of delivery, our delivery service may leave a pick up card at your address and you must collect your order from the post office location stipulated on this card.
We work with several delivery partners including Australia Post and private courier companies.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We take great care when preparing your order for shipment. As such, once packaging has commenced, we are unable to cancel existing orders. Please e-mail us immediately if you wish to revise or cancel your order and we will attempt to assist you. We reserve the right to refuse order cancellation, at all times.
RETURNS POLICY
Please take care when selecting your items, as The Tearoom Diaries does not allow refunds or exchanges simply for change of mind.
If your goods arrive and are either damaged or faulty, please notify us within 7 day of receipt via e-mail at: contact@thetearoomdiaries.com.au. Please include proof of purchase by way of order number, as well as details and pictures of the damage alleged, wherever necessary. If the same product type and colour/design is available, we will gladly replace your item (postage free of charge). If your item is no longer available, we will issue a full refund via your original method of payment. Refunds may take up to 14 business days to process.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Tearoom Diaries always takes care to ensure, as best as possible, that our products are described accurately on our website.
Your letters / goods may vary slightly in design or colour from the exact product displayed in our online store. Appearances may also vary depending on what type of device or screen you are viewing our website with. Printed products in particular are all unique and will vary from item to item.
PRODUCT CARE AND SAFETY
Please ensure that young children are never left unsupervised with smaller products or products containing small detachable parts. The Tearoom Diaries will not be responsible for any damage or injury that may occur due to incorrect use or lack of supervision.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
On rare occasions our suppliers are unable to deliver stock to us, for whatever reason, or stock is deemed by us to not be of sufficient quality to sell. Because of this, we may have to occasionally remove items from our online store and reserve the right to do this, at any time, including after an order has been placed. We do not assume liability to customers or any third party for any consequences that may arise out of the removal of a product or cancellation of an order due to unavailability. Refunds will be given in the case that an order has been confirmed and paid for.
PROMOTIONS
The Tearoom Diaries may occasionally run promotional offers for our customers. These may be advertised through our social media, e-mail promotions or catalogue mail outs. Such special offers may include, but are not necessarily limited to: special prices, discount codes or other promotions.
